The sacred stone

Somewhere in Brittany is a sacred stone said to come to the aid of sterile women. The instructions on the postcard say all you need to do is sit on the stone and hope - just like this lady.

I wonder if it has survived all that has ensued since that photgraph was taken?

So many amazing things we have believed through the years!

Wow!! I don't even know what to say to that. The woman in the picture does not look exactly comfortable...

Alan: I couldn't find any modern day photos of the stone. Perhaps it was worn out by all the ladies who sat on it.

Piscean: She doesn't look too happy about it. I think that your lady looks more relaxed. It was interesting that you found that site. I often check on that one if I need more details about where a card comes from.

I thought more of the other cataclysms that had taken place since that photo was taken, or some kind of "development"!

Alan: I expect a lot of young ladies avoid sitting on it today ...
