I'd keep these!

If I had the choice, this is a pair of postcards that I would keep for myself. I love the way in which they've been coloured. Such a pretty little girl too.

very pretty . I love little girls to dress up but I don't have any lol
I make my angels and they look very nice on my table. If I had a little girl, she would probably play with them.
Old post cards are very interesting. I know people tried to put hidden messages in them during the war knowing they would all be read.
Things like we had a wonderful holiday could mean they didn't. We had a nice dinner meaning we didn't Or thank you for the shoes meaning they dont have any.
So reading these post cards and comparing them to the times is very interesting and intriguing.
Sometimes the very card they send has a secret meaning to someone.

A Lady's Life: Yes, there was a lot of 'secret correspondence. I've come across postcards written in code and postcards written in shorthand. Here is a post I wrote about the language of stamps! http://timeandoft.blogspot.fr/2008/10/language-of-stamps.html
