Happy New Year

A Happy New Year to everyone. I hope that everything you wish for in the new year comes to you. I chose this postcard not only because it is charming, but because It happens to have a coded message on the back. I’m pretty sure that it was written about a hundred years ago by the same person as this card here.

Here’s the message :
7 1 9 g 5 2 9 3 t 2
H 5 2 t

Wow, that's really exciting! Some kind of secret message between lovers... I would love to break it!

Willow; Happy New Year to you too. Don't worry I've got between 5,000 and 10,000 new old postcards, should keep me going here for at least 10 years!

That many??? How did you get all those? Looking forward to seeing more :-)

Willow; Rob started to buy up lots in order to find the cards he wanted. You can get around 800 into a shoe box.

Hi Anji, this is terrible - I was wondering whether I should try and break this code! Me, who can't even remember the combination lock on my bike.
Intriguing though...
Oh, and Happy (belated) New Year

Neutron; Do you speak French too? I can't remember where I parked the car most of the time, let alone things with numbers on.
