Today we’ll take a trip in our time capsule and stroll down Avenue de la Gare, stopping for a drink outside the Café de la Poste (on the left) on the way. Although the edges of the postcard are faded, details like the moustache on the man on the right can easily be seen with a strong magnifying glass. The card was sent in 1927.

Me, when I am home as a retiree (well, a partial one), I stroll down the road in front of my apartment building every day at 11h30 and go to the Café du Commerce.
There is nothing as nice as sitting on a terrasse with a drink and watching the world go by. Later this afternoon we'll walk round to l'Avocette and enjoy the courtyard there.
