Two cards today to celebrate the first of April. Hope you didn’t get caught out by an April fool’s trick. It isn’t clear why fish are special on this day but jokes are played – only till noon. There are lots of postcards with lovingly held fish to be offered to loved ones. Fortunately they weren’t scratch and sniff!

I love the one of the little girl riding on the giant fish! ^o^ Vintage postcards are always so pretty. I think that we might have some from my late great-grandmother at my house. When I have time, maybe I could find some and send you a few pictures? They might not mean the same, since you didn't find them yourself though.
Also, have you heard of PostSecret? They aren't vintage, but it's a whole big art project that revolves around secrets sent in on anonymous, homemade postcards.

I had come across the secret postcards before. There are some very thought provoking cards. thank you I now have the addresses!
